Biography[]

Personality[]

In his younger years, Picasso didn’t have a lot of self confidence; he always thought that there was someone better out there to do that job when it came to art. After being inspired by Henri Matisse's work, Picasso discovers he is entered in the same art contest and promptly withdraws, saying his work isn't good enough to compete yet. Later, Gertrude Stein invokes it in both of them, encouraging them to keep trying to top each other and bring out their best work.

Besides being a famous artist, Pablo Picasso was also a notorious womanizer, as he had multiple mistresses simultaneously.

Picasso was also quite the boaster and always full of pride in his later years; In one scene Picasso stares down a Nazi officer who was threatening to arrest him, saying he knows the man's own boss is a big fan and he may disappear himself after arresting the “world's most famous artist”.
